We’re seeking Automation Engineer's to join our leading Telecommunications client here in Auckland CBD!  

You will focus on discovery, design, build and release of automation supporting various business units and need to have an understanding or experience with open-source products and applications. You should have experience in unit test frameworks and software development for a micro-services architecture.

Technical skills  
•    +3 years in the following areas of software development: requirements gathering, solution design and application development.
•  Proven track record with DevOps software development, cloud hosted infrastructure, Python and experience with Azure Cognitive Services.
•    An advanced understanding of programming languages/stacks such as: JavaScript, Nodejs, Python, SQL and NoSQL databases (Mongo), creating and maintaining tables and schemas.
•    Experience with PL/SQL an advantage.
•  Deploying solutions in Azure DevOps or similar repositories using CI/CD deployment pipelines.
•   Experience with container-based software deployment such as Red Hat OCP/Kubernetes/Docker.
•    An advanced understanding of design patterns
