Our client is seeking a Data Lead to support a dynamic data engineering team, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices in data engineering, governance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and expertise for key data projects, shaping best practices, standards, and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data investments align with business needs.
• Oversee adherence to governance, risk, and compliance requirements within data engineering frameworks.
• Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality data assets, infrastructure, and conformed datasets.
• Design, automate, and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders, offering expert guidance and support.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with evolving policies and frameworks.

About You:

• Proven experience in a data leadership role, guiding engineering teams and projects.
• Strong expertise in data engineering, including infrastructure, automation, and governance.
• Hands-on experience with Data Pipelines, DB2, Airflow, Snowflake, and GitHub.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• A proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
• Passionate about driving commercial outcomes through effective data strategies.
