We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect/Unix Systems Engineer with extensive experience in working with the Power Platform.

To be successful in this application you would require to have a strong understanding of LPAR (Logical Partitioning).

In this role you will be responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, and providing support for AIX systems. While experience with Power 10 is preferred, candidates with expertise in Power 7, 8, or 9 will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining AIX systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to AIX systems.
• Implementing and maintaining system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure proper integration and compatibility with other systems and technologies.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience working as a Unix Systems Engineer with a focus on AIX systems.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Power Platform.
• Strong understanding of LPAR (Logical Partitioning) concepts and implementation.
• Proficiency in system design, deployment, configuration, and administration of AIX systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
