About the Role:

• Develop, design and execute cloud migration strategy, governance and sequence

• Lead and oversee the cloud transformation program, including the modernisation and simplification of applications and infrastructure.

• Create persuasive business cases to generate value and secure enterprise-wide stakeholder support.

• Ensure effective vendor selection, provide commercial recommendations, and manage vendor relationships to meet contractual obligations.

• Manage the cloud program budgets on behalf of the business owner.

• Drive change through continuous engagement and communication of outcomes to stakeholders throughout the migration process.

• Design Cloud migration strategy, governance and sequence

About You:

• Experienced in leading the technical aspects of modernising applications and migrating legacy/on-premise data centre infrastructure to a public cloud provider such as Azure.

• Proven track record in leading and delivering large IT transformation programs, with oversight from initiation to service transition.

• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, change management, risk management, governance and reporting, stakeholder engagement, and quality control.

• Extensive experience in a senior leadership role within highly regulated environments, ensuring strict compliance with technology policies and standards, preferably in Financial Services.

• Expertise in cloud technologies, architecture design, security principles, cost optimisation strategies, and vendor management.
