We are seeking a highly skilled Network Design Engineer with expertise in Cisco technologies to join our client's team. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise-level network solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise Cisco-based network infrastructures, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, diagrams, and design specifications.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (ASA, Firepower), and wireless solutions (Cisco Meraki, Catalyst).
• Implement Cisco SD-WAN, VPN, QoS, and VLAN solutions for optimal connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimise network traffic.
• Ensure network security compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Support cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid network environments.
• Automate network tasks using tools like Python, Ansible, or Cisco DNA Center.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the networking team.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in Cisco network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routing (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel), and security protocols.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco ASA, Firepower, ISE, and VPN solutions.
• Experience with Cisco SD-WAN and Meraki solutions is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime).
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
