We are seeking an accomplished Senior Security Consultant to lead and deliver information and cyber security solutions for our banking client. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to embed security into projects, perform threat modelling, and manage third-party assessments, ensuring our their systems are resilient and risks are effectively mitigated.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end security engagements across client projects and change initiatives.
• Provide expert guidance on technical and business security risks.
• Conduct threat modelling and security control assessments for new and existing services.
• Oversee third-party security reviews and manage remediation activities.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of security frameworks and patterns.
• Represent Information Security at governance forums and promote security awareness initiatives.

What You Will Bring

Essential:

• At least 7 years of experience in information and cyber security.
• Expertise in security strategy, risk management, architecture, and governance.
• Proficiency with public cloud technologies, SaaS solutions, and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly Advantageous:

• Experience within the AU/NZ banking or financial services sectors.
• Knowledge of security threats specific to the banking industry.
• Programme or project management experience.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., SABSA, CISSP, CISM).
