We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Cloud Services Lead to join our clients growing team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in vendor management, strategic direction, and expertise in Azure and Terraform environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management:
  
  • Lead the vendor team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the department's infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Provide strategic direction to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal performance of our systems.
• Best Practices and Standards:
  
  • Define and enforce best practices and standards for services, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as software engineers, operations, and solution architects, to optimize our environment and address complex technical challenges.
• Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD:
  
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code templates, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
  • Ensure seamless deployment and integration of code changes across our environment.
• Continuous Improvement:
  
  • Monitor and analyze our infrastructure and cloud services continuously.
  • Identify areas for improvement, such as performance bottlenecks and capacity planning, and implement necessary enhancements.
• Incident Response:
  
  • Participate in and lead efforts to resolve critical incidents promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement preventive measures and enhance system resilience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in vendor management and strategic direction.
• Expertise in Azure and Terraform environments.
• Strong understanding of best practices and standards for infrastructure and cloud services.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
